My name is Pastor K Vijaya Raju , married and with the help of my wife I run a small orphanage in AP named Human welfare centre orphanage children home since 5 years for orphaned and abandoned children. Some of these children have been severely traumatized as a result of national disasters and the death of their parents. Up until now this small project has been entirely supported by myself and the congregation from our church, mostly Hindu converts. These are very poor people mostly labourers and sacrificially contribute to the welfare of our orphaned children. We run the orphanage on Christian principles but accept children from any denomination, our aim is to provide education and health care, thus equipping them for life and enabling them to break free from the poverty trap they are now in. It has become increasingly difficult to continue with this project due to ever increasing poverty amongst our church attenders, our own Indian people seem oblivious to the basic needs of these children. Hello Joani, I wanted to thank you again for praying with my sister Carolyn, who has terminal cancer, when you were in Lancaster, Oh. last week. She loves the cd that you so generously gave her. That showed me that you are trully a very compassionate loving person and that you really want to make a difference in peoples lives. My sisters and I are so very close ,that if God chooses to take her to be with Him we are going to be totally lost without her because we are just like triplets except the two younger than me had to bake a little longer thats all. I was so glad to find your website. I am sure you cannot possibly remember my wife and I but I was the Minister of Music at Gethsemane Baptist Church in Richlands, VA back in early 1993 when you did a concert for us and then I had you come out to Richmond, MO for a concert in 1994. I have since gotten out of the full-time ministry but still am active in a great church. You were such a blessing to Sandy and I and we still listen to your CD "Steppin on White Clouds." My prayer is that God will continue to bless you as He clearly has over the years. You have a tremendous voice and a wonderful spirit. I hope sometime we can see you again in person. We still live in the Kansas City area so I will have to check your website often to see if you are anywhere near.

I had the pleasure of meeting you this evening at Fairfield Christian Church's Annual Ladies Gala in Lancaster, Ohio. I am sure you spoke with many ladies this evening, however I was the one you told to "buy that hair crimper for my daughter"! I want you to know I had full intentions on doing so! My Mom was with me and she was the lady I was telling that to before you spoke this evening, her reply to me was "you have got to be kidding, what does she need one of those for" I'll tell you Joani, I can hardly wait for the first time after Christmas when I take my 7 year old daughter, Carly Rose to my Moms house with her hair all crimped and Mom says "WHY?" I promise you that I will say "because it brings her pure joy! thats why!"

Thank you so very much for your message, I pray that your words (which I do believe were annointed) reached way down into my Moms heart and marinate there for a while, she is saved and does have a personal relationship with Jesus, she just plain needs some joy!

And for myself I have been having a bummer of a week, and I do believe that God brought you to Fairfield just for me! Praise Him!!!!!!!!!

Dear in Christ , I greet you in the most highly exalted name of our Lord and Savior Jesus christ .I praise God that He has privileged me to write this letter to you for your kind co-operation. We have been doing the Gospel work for the last 8 years. We have our fellow pastor s to co-operate with me for the extension of the king dom of God. Our Gospel work is mainly done in rural, ribal and remote slum areas. India is a country of Hinduism as the main religion. Indians worship 33 million of gods and goddesses. Out of one billion I ndians only 2.4% are Christians. Ours is a secular country. But there is a hell of intolerance for Christianity. There have been endeavors to root out Christianity from India. In such conditions we have been doing the Gospel work by facing many troubles. Chri stianity in our society is considered as one of the lowest communities. Christians have no respect. They are treated as untouchables and are not allowed to live together with the people of higher community. It is because of their poverty and illiteracy. So mo st of our fellows Christians live in huts at the out skirts of villages. We are regular victims of nature calamities such as cyclones, floods and fire accidents, which take away lives and shelters of people in a great number. Consequently there are orphans an d widows. Gospel work in India is a matter of starvation and persecutions. Our resources are very small and there are many times beyond the reach of our basic needs. We are in need of a monthly support for our pastors to look after their families when do the Gospel work. We need a monthly support to look after the orphan children who are hungry in many days in the month. At such times they seem to be gloomy and sick. Every orphan child has a very heart rending history. We are hope fully looking forward for a God parent like you to fill the tiny belly and wipe the tears on the tender cheek of at least one orphan child. The little you help us will enable us to do a great deal of God's work. Our aim is to reach every nook and corner and promote Pastor M.Jaya kumar, New Shalem Church,Andara Ratna Road,M.S.Palem,Tenali-522201, A.P, South India. The following are the verses that God gave to prepare for the ministry in the coming days. What a Blessing to be at Butler Springs and to hear, "Nothing's Going To Steal My Joy." It has been a renewing of my Spirit as sometimes we grow weary, But, God Is In Control. You shared so much that will help me in my part-time/temporary job as office manager for the Loveland Church of Christ, that has already turned into 10 months, preacher resigned after 25 years, and I was asked to be on search committee. This started May 19. 2002, now after 100 resumes, there was one that stood out, but the Lord still says wait to at least February 2003, as the candidate had things come up that he needs longer than his contract of 2 months notice. But our congregation must have patience. Pray for us.

I would appreciate a copy of your schedule, as we would love to have you come to Loveland, you have so much to share with us, and it would give us a challenge to do a outreach and invite others to attend. Because I know your love for God's work would sure touch our lives, as it already has mine.

Joani, I saw you sing 2 times at our local church; West Carollton Church of the Nazarene in the past year. You are wonderful. I can't tell you how many times I have listened to all 3 of the CD's I purchased from you in August 2001 at the church. It was the best $30.00 I have ever spent. You were such an inspiration to me, you just really made me realize what a powerful Lord we have. Amen! I listen to "God is Good" almost everyday, sometimes 5 times a day. It brings tears to my eyes each and every time. I have a 2 1/2 year old daughter and now a 4 week old little boy. I sit and hold my new son and sing that song to him, because this is such a cruel world, I want him to know that if he chooses to walk w/ Jesus, his life will be so much more. Joani, thank you for coming to Hillcrest Church this past weekend. You rocked my world for me. I keep walking around saying to myself "You don't have any rights." And each time I do, I feel a burden lift from my shoulders. Who would have expected to receive by giving up? I mean, you hear this stuff, but rarely do you experience it like this. It's as if each time I say that, God takes over, and I'm free to relax and see what happens. You talked a great deal about freedom. I think you picked up one of our new letters "Of One Accord" that we put out each month. I have an article on the back page that is kind of a soap box for me. I get to speak my mind each month. Interesting how my article in that issue is on freedom, and I wrote it just last week. What timing. So, intellectually, I understand this freedom thing, but the "how to" get there part is what so many of us seem to miss. "Let go, and let God" is a great idea, but it's just a spiritual, ethereal cute little catchy saying, if you don't know how to achieve it. Most ministers cannot tell you how to achieve it. How to "take it", how to "let it go", how to "turn it over", how to "give it to God". I have had some breakthroughs in this area before, but this is one more step for me. You gave me a ractical "how to" t hat I can apply. Thanks for ministering to us. I don't think any of the ladies were unaffected. Walking wounded might be an apt term. But that's what happens when you find out that you've been deceived and that you are living outside the will of God. It is agony. However, it is the first step to healing. Be ever so blessed and filled again and again with the joy of the Lord. And any time you come back to Dallas, look us up! Take care now.

Hello my christ sister, Joani!

I am sure you might not remember me but can tell you that I met you at Charleston Baptist Church where you first came to sing your amazed songs for the concert. I came approaching to you talking while an interpreter interpreted for you and me because I am deaf. Remember me as April Jacobs? If not, that is ok since I know you have met a lot people whom you bring good news in your amazed songs.

I do thinking of you as keeping you in my prayer that Lord will take care of you and keep you safely in His Holy Hands. I pray that you will get healed in the name of Jesus from being suffering in what you will and have gone through lately. I am sorry to hear about your health, but you are not alone. I have my own health problem-migraiane that can affect me into depression. One thing you and I shall not give up ourseleves in but lift our eyes and hands up to the Lord who will do all work for us. Amen?

Let me tell you my tragic news which is not that so sad to me and my family about my loving dad who is now in heaven celebrating his life peacefully. We learned that he had this diease, but he never found out what it was wrong with him for being so sick and not feel so well until this year.

He was sent to the hosptial to run a lot of tests and found nothing. Finally last Feburary of this year, he was told that he had lyamhona as cancer. He did not get disappointed about this news from his doctor because frist he had tumor in his side of ear, and that tumor did come out clean. Before he learned about what kind cancer he had, he decided to turn his life to Jesus once again since he was very little. YES! Praise the Lord for what he had done! I did have a talk with him while I live in Charleston on the phone about rededication his life to the Lord. I shared my experience in growth of Christ and told him that I am rededicated in the late teen age. So he realized that he needed to make another commiteed with the Lord after all he was not in the right road to the cross. I asked him if he read the POWER OF LIVING book that I mailed. He said he would go to read on the weekend. I was sooo excited.

He has changed a whole lot in Christ who gives him an eternal life since for 5 months right here on the earth but now in Heaven. I saw that greatest example and growth in Dad whom Jesus Christ have wanted to show all of us (me and my family even everyone else who came to see him). Yes. Oh yea I did mention you to him a lot and showed the cd with your name signed. I even did play your cd for him to listen. Yes. I believe he enjoyed these songs that you sing to praise to the Lord. My family like your cd very much!!! I glad that I came that evening to listen whatever you had to share with us at my CBC because I obeyed God that night. Yes, I received blessing for Him. Thanks Jesus.

I just want to share my richly testimony that I experienced to see how Holy Spirit has changed me, especially my dad. And, I let you know that I am not forgetting about you at all. I have you in my heart of prayers that I think of you. Yes. I love you, Joani, but Jesus loves you MORE.

Let me know how you do so far with your follow up report that your doctor gives. God is using your doctor as well as healing you in His blood. Take care.

To Joani Dear Joani, By your actions and your great smile, laughter and joy, you are showing evidence of the Holy Spirit`s presence in your life. What a Joy it was seeing and hearing Joani sing those awesome songs, at West Carrollton, Church of the Nazarene at both services and at Hillside Ave. Church of God on May 5th. The services were awesome. The presence of our Lord was right beside Joani. I could tell by the way she sang those songs, by the way her face shined and sparkled, that the Lord lives inside her heart,mind and soul. His presence was felt in both church's. Joani is a joy to know. The words from Joani's lips are a true reflection of what she has in her heart. I really enjoy listening to her sing the way that she does. Hi - I just want to say how much I enjoy getting this and hearing the updates each week. It is so good to hear that people are opening their hearts to God. No one knows that special feeling until they have experienced it. My husband and I celebrated our 4th wedding anniversary on April 18 and he asked what I wanted. This year I picked out a book that will be a great help for both of us and making our marriage stronger. It's called "Power of a Praying Wife" by Stormie O'Martian. It is wonderful - every wife should have this. It helps understand his feelings and includes God in our every day walk.

Joani's love for God and her caring concern for others shows her true heart. Hi Joani and Glenn. I love the website. I didnt't know about it, just was thinking about you guys and wondering how you are. We have moved to Chesapeake VA. We have been here since October. Gary and I are both working. Jae is doing well in Kindergarden as well as his favorite hobbies, t-ball and gameboy. I think about you all often and hope you and your family are doing well. I am getting adjusted to a whole new environment. It is busier growing by leaps and bounds, but no less a community that is trying to keep its grassroots and eye on what really matters. Glenn and Joani, I still am having a hard time finding the chemistry that you all had and the ability to capture my heart. There are good churches here with a lot of community involvement, but I can't find the real emotion from the clergy or the members. It's like they are going to work. Oh well. If you have any suggestions, let me know. And Oh yes. Nothing is going to steal my joy! Although many have tried. It seems that when you have a smile on your face all the time and a cheer in your voice, some are jeolous, and they never ask how or why. I have always felt that kindness begets kindness. In most cases it does. I operate a Physician referal telephone line at the hospital in Chesapeake and I have a real opportunity to help those that are sick, if only to listen. It is very rewarding. I had met Sis. Joanita at my church, CBC last night. Boy, I actually did not know her that well but would like to know who she is and what God has done to her life, you know. I came to my church and listen what God has used her and what can she do for Him as witnessing us even I am saved already.

I was so happy to come in what God told me to because I knew what I had to come for...to hear what God flows through her in His messages to share me and others. I can have my joy back again, and nobody can ever steal mine again!

After talking with her, she is so wonderful and lovely to meet as if I met Jesus that night! Something that told me from Jesus as I am still special to Him and He never forsake me! Thanks Jesus because I was in foggy that moment by moment until that night!

Today, I am so delighted to visit her wonderful website and see what she serves for the mighty Lord and witness others who come to surf. So far, I have enjoyed, but I am not done yet, haha.
